       Is there a way to get htop to display the battery level/an htop alternative that displays this? Asking for a future video.

       @linmob You can add battery info to the header in htop. F2 (or C), Meters and then you should have an entry for battery in the list on the right.

       @linmob The htop.dev web site shows a screen shot with battery level. I just checked and I get the same.  Why don't we see it?If you have acpi installed, then acpi -b shows a snapshot of battery level, but no continuous monitor.
