Ostracism is a spookfor it is inherently authoritarian. It does far more harm than good- the only reason why people do it is because they wanna monopolise ideology; this is why they stigmatise critical thinking. It's become clear in this day and age, that we are far more divided by ideology than by class or race.If u were genuinely an Anarchist, u would value rehabilitation over punishment- alleviating alienation as opposed to deliberately inducing it.

@cee if you have two entities that accept the precept that consent is required for all things, but one entity engages in hegelian dielectics to scare everyone in to consenting and the other entity says this is fake consent because you created the problem you got permission to solve.walk forward several steps in the behavior trees and the outcomes are going to get extremely divergent.the severity of the precept is going to determine if you can just ignore the divergence (which we can kinda do with divergences like kosher diets) but these divergences have gotten worse (ex. you have one path of luxury livers saying you will eat bugs and soybeans and the other path says we will eat what we please) and there comes a point where it just isn't going to work.

@cee The proper way to go about this is to engage in physical removal (as Hoppe recommends) of those who present a danger to the community, then let them in once (if ever) they have "rehabilitated". What you propose is to just let those actively hostile to the community stay and eventually cause the implosion of said community, thus rendering any attempt to maintain an "anarchist" community mute since you are guaranteeing its downfall.

@icedquinn i deconstruct the dialectics, i break down false dichotomies, its what Post-Structuralists do.Also @kerosene Im not a fan of the Communalist left or the Hoppean right when it comes to dealing with wrong-doers. We literally have the technology and means now to heal those that are unwell (obviously Big Pharma are the only ones who are standing in our way). But we have MRI scanners- so if we have someone who has a behavioral problem, we can scan em and see where the damage is. There's been a medical breakthrough in recent years that micro-dosing magic mushrooms with vit B3, can help heal brain damage and neuropathy. Meditation is known to increase grey matter in the brain which helps alleviate mental illnesses.All ostracism does is it hoists the problem onto other communities- it sweeps the problem under the rug.

@kerosene the only time i can image physical removal is if 2 individuals are about to get into a fist fight with each other- obviously you'll need remove/separate the 2. But to ostracise those who critique ur framework or dont align to ur exact views, you'll just end up digging ur own grave. This is why we cant have left unity or right unity, it becomes a dog-eat-dog world

@cee @kerosene Hoppe advocates ostracizing "bad neighbors". You wouldn't want a nudist living next to you who gardens without any clothes on in front of your children. The best thing to do is to cut him off. Deny him employment, service, etc and encourage the rest of the community to do the same.
