       @Eris Sometimes you can't get treatment even if you are paying. There's a strong culture here of "I'm the doctor, I know better than you."But it is often cheaper to pay yourself if you can.

       @Eris Well, the way it works now,You can ONLY get what's on that particular menu of items your insurance is willing to pay for, and only if the doctor agrees to prescribe it... "Also you are a very dumb patient and you're probably just imagining the pain, go home and call us in the morning if it gets worse."It's not just money that's the problem.

       @Eris @extraspecialk at least give out a scrip for like…5 or so vicodinyou arent gonna be able to party hard or get hooked on it, and by the time you use em all thats when 600mg ibuprofen is actually helpful. theres a pain threshold that basic bitch NSAIDs just can’t resolve no matter the dosage

       @Eris @extraspecialk because you were in pain. take them at baseline and its def an opiate high, albeit weak. thats why you take at least 3 or 4 for party mode

       @Eris @extraspecialk like i said, if youre in pain, and you take just one, its manageable. if you arent in pain, or you start doubling down on the dosage is when you get into fun/problematic territory. also some people are more susceptible to the effects than others, YMMV
