I know he wants to entertain people but some part of him clearly wants to use his platform on politicsThe destiny debate bullshit was retarded, Jon said nothing but factual information and actually instead of the reddit copout r/thedonald bullshit he talked about crime stats by race, and said the richest negro neighborhood had more crime than the poorest white neighborhood and that it isn't 'socioeconomic factors'. He didn't agree with immigration, he simply stated they don't assimilate and are a net negative. What's more, Jon didn't apologize, despite his internet """""friends"""""" being super gay and throwing him under the bus(only to later be revealed as perverts and suspected to be child molesters) he simply took time off and came back avoiding political discussion although clearly it was still on his mind and slipped through every once in awhile

@sharutiaburaddofouren I think he's having a really hard time pivoting from the goofy, funny, silly "Haha I used to talk about videogames but now I make funny jokes about lots of weird media!" into this field- but yeah, it nags at him like it nags at us. I just don't think he knows how he's supposed to make that change, or even if he can without a significant change in lifestyle and the loss of a lot more friends.Also, him getting off of the Egoraptor boat was a smart move.
