@DuaneCates Malice?I'd assert that it is IMPOSSIBLE to insert a live round into a firearm being used on a movie set without MALICE being a PRIMARY motivation.The only question is who did it?Baldwin is responsible for failing to follow the rules of firearm safety as an actor & failing to establish safety procedures as a producer. He'll do time and pay out big.The question of possible MURDER will be answered by finding out who loaded the live round in the cylinder. And finding out why.

@Andre @DuaneCates The only plausible explanation in my mind, with locals being hired to replace the union members, is that somehow real guns got mixed in with the prop ones, but that doesn't excuse Baldwin at all for pointing it at the poor woman and pulling the trigger. The production team was cutting corners and being fatally negligent with safety.

@DrFell @DuaneCates Sorta. Maybe.But the lack of a heavy lead projectile means that a blank round feels very different to a live round. Even with a blindfold on, a person experienced with firearms would feel the difference if they accidentally grabbed a live round inexplicably mixed in with the blanks.In my view, the most likely explanation is that the insertion of a live round into the cylinder of that singe action revolver was a deliberate act.
