       @sjw Yo did you upgrade Pleroma-FE or twiddle a config or something? The mumble thread from earlier today https://neckbeard.xyz/notice/ACfdM0hiZrHGNRCGS8 is literally unusable for me and that's never happened before that I can recall.A while back proper hell threads ex https://neckbeard.xyz/notice/ACYkaiPR88JZocrfm4 started loading on demand instead of all at once and I was actually able to open them without my browser locking up. That's still the case, I just checked.I can't figure out what's different about the mumble thread.

       @ew @sjw Hmm I'd test that theory but even opening the thread to copy all the mentions is pretty much unworkable for me. :sad_mac: It's weird, it doesn't actually lock up like hellthreads used to do. Something like 500 ms stutter when scrolling, fails to render chunks of the page seemingly at random, clicks might or might not register a couple seconds later, it's crazy. Some sort of attempt at async code gone horribly, horribly wrong.

       @sergeantcat @sjw @ew Well thanks for checking that. It's still weird because other threads are doing fine. In that case I'm guessing it's related to what ew said about lots of mentions in combination with my browser and lower end hardware.
