@graf I would actually recommend the Douay-Rheims translation instead. But any approved Catholic translation is good as well. But we are not guaranteed to have the good luck just because we are following Jesus Christ. For instance there was a case where the nun was possessed by the demon. The exorcist asked the demon what she had done in order to be possessed, and the demon said she had not done anything wrong. She had been possessed because of a certain sin being committed in the local area. So the priests began saying mass in that area with the intention of overcoming that particular sin, and soon she was no longer possessed. So sometimes we will suffer not because we are doing anything wrong, but as a result of sins that others have committed. But on the cross, Jesus redeemed suffering itself, so we can use this to bring about good in the world. Thank you friend.

I would also double check by going to the website for that parish in particular, as they should list off their times either directly there or in their bulletin. If you look to what the early Christians believed, the ones directly taught by Jesus and the apostles and their disciples, it is the same as what the Catholics today believe. You cannot find any protestant beliefs there like the sola scriptura, sola fide, lack of belief in the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist, and other things like that. I would encourage you to look into the history of Christianity, as then Catholicism becomes undeniable. Thank you friend.

@OvaryActing @graf Yes friend saying that you were raised Catholic really does not mean a thing. Most Catholics today do not even know the basics. I can attest to this personally as I helped to teach the teenaged children at the church and even after many years of education they did not know many basic things. @OvaryActing @graf God gives us exactly what we want friend. The worst aspect of hell is simply being separated from God. That is worse than any pain or suffering we may find down there. So the people that hate God and do not want to be with Him, that is where He sends them. And even then, if they were to repent, they would be freed from there, but those in hell are so locked to their evils that they will never repent. Thank you friend.

The only argument that can be made in favor of it is that it feels good, which is not even a good thing in and of itself. But on the negative side it causes much harm to the body, mind, and soul. For instance here is a poast I saw a few days ago where they mention that the receivers of the sodomy have to permanently wear the diapers after a few years because the act is so destructive to their colons. It is also very destructive in general, which is why the homosexuals have an average lifespan in the 40s, much lower than for the normal people. It also leads to other perversions, which is why despite making up only about 4% of the population, 40% of child molesters are the homosexuals. There is much more evidence of the destructive nature of homosexual acts, but this is just the few I could recall offhand. Thank you friend.
