I have ADHD. I can’t get treatment for it without jumping through a multitude of hoops that I am doing currently because my job isn’t impacted negatively by itThe key word is negatively.My disability, the thing keeping me from doing what I *want* to do at home, in my off hours, is Good for my boss. And that’s a justification for not treating it.Is that an indictment of me? Or capitalism?

This goddamn ableist “If we get rid of capitalism then you have nothing to be depressed about” is fucking atrocious and needs to cease.I can guarantee that in a post-capitalist world, mental illness will continue to exist. And if we don’t address it, so will medical biases that negatively impact disabled people.
