       Well, shit. Someone and a few other someones I thought I could trust are pushing around a "These people used this kink to abuse me, therefore this kink is NEVER OKAY" post on birdsite and now I'm just back to thinking "Your trauma informs how you can feel about certain things, but if you want to use that to pontificate on their general morality, arguably, you're in the wrong."

       It's one thing to say "I don't want anything to do with this" which I can fully respect, it's another to say "It's wrong and bad if you have it and practice it because of what I went through"

       I dunno. I've got my own traumas and at some point I think I had to realize that I can't make fucking wide-sweeping statements about shit based on what I went through.All I can do is avoid them, I can't tell others not to partake in them simply because it exists ergo... what, I might run into it? No, that's fucking unrealistic nonsense.
