@watch4thedrop I know, thirty bucks! That's not enough for a baby's butt for a week! 😂 But, srsly, yes, I'm not surprised. Really, this is a great place to raise a family on the government, legal or otherwise. Just not if you work for a living and pay taxes and want to buy a home.

@watch4thedrop okay. I admit it's been a long time since I needed to buy baby diapers or change a baby. So, maybe thirty dollars goes a long way? I can't imagine that diapers are cheap, though. That's just a guess of baby poop to diaper ratio over time. 😂

@Klang lol the trick is to buy them in wholesale and whenver a coupon is available. like even if you have 3-4 boxes in the house already, if a coupon arrives, buy. well that's my trick anyways lol

@watch4thedrop @Klang I’m glad I read the article. At first I was dismissing the need to fund diapers thinking “why don’t they reuse cloth versions the way my parents’ generation did”? The truth was a tough one to face and I learned not to jump to conclusions about life in poverty. After reading and understanding the situation, I want to find a way to help finance diapers for poor people with babies to raise. After all - they didn’t abort them. They are everyday heroes in my eyes.

@Klang @watch4thedrop I do that too and I don’t even care if they use it for booze or whatever. I spend it on booze (happy hours are running amok) so why can’t they?! Lately I’m feeling the need to get out of my cushy bubble. I’ve started to lose perspective.
