One of the reasons to like fedi is that it's very easy to dissolve conflicts like that by going to a separate instance since you can still keep interacting with the people you liked from the previous one. I guess I got lucky when SPC was suggested to me as a place to start exploring fedi, since it accommodates my all over the place posting habits well, as long as I remember to spoiler any explicit stuff.

@lewdthewides @moth_ball @ew @graf @milk @undu Poast kind of has Gab's problem where a lot of its users have a very narrow vision for what they want the site to be, and it's inhibiting any growth it could have. Healthy paranoia over internet hall monitors doesn't help much either. Unlike Gab, by nature, the Fediverse sees narrow visions like that and routes around them.At least it doesn't have Gab's problem where those users can't agree over what their goal is.
