@charlotte1958 According to the indictment, Sussmann sought a meeting with the general counsel of “Agency 2” after the election, and later met with two officials of the agency and gave them Alfa Bank material. In this meeting, on Feb. 9, 2017, Sussmann allegedly repeated the same lie, saying that while Perkins Coie had the DNC and Hillary Clinton as clients, this work had nothing to do with that.Buried tidbit in the Sussmann indictment.1/2

@charlotte1958 Its not for nothing that Durham states at Par. 42 that Sussmann repeated his false statement to employees of Agency 2 on Feb. 9, 2017, "at a location outside the District of Columbia."1. Extends SOL on conspiracy.2. Takes venue outside.3. Is another substantive "false statement" count.4. Explains why only this one count is charged -- had to be charged by 9/19, and had to be charged in DC because that's where the meeting with Baker took place.AND2/3

@SusanInVA Now wouldn't it be something if some of these bad people were linked to the 2020 elections (and did similar stuff)?Then Durham would be able to go after them, too?To me this only makes sense since former AG Barr told everyone to stand down.
