       Is it just me, or is Adam Schiff the chosen hype man for the Dems on the 1/6 committee whose job it is to go on TV and  pretend something is actually going to come of this investigation?I mean we've seen some actual charges for actual insurrectionists and they're very light.What is actually going on here?

       @Ricardus To me, it looks like the Dems are slow-walking the 1/6 commission into a a McCarthy thing.It seems justified to me (group of people attack US GOV; looking what they did for 9/11, it's not beyond 1/2000th), but it's gonna look bad and play into the Gops narrative regardless.They have to slow boil it, so they don't look hysterical, but it's gonna end up being reps dragging citizens in and threatening to ruin their lives, hopefully based on some real evidence, but these are reps.

       @Ricardus Exactly, but the right's narrative is that most of the people there were just rubes, and only a few (whichever you can catch) are bad apples that broke in and turned violent.They get light sentences because: this is their first offense, they're good family people, they have a bright future, etc.
