@MischievousTomato@sementerrori.st vivaldi doesn't have any scummy tricks imo. the only things they have are marketing bookmarks and their ad blocker has an allow list for some ads that you can turn off, though I don't use their ad blocker anyways.

@MischievousTomato@sementerrori.st the vivaldi people are also generally nice people. they have a lot going for them. the analitical software they use is open source. and get this... they updated it 2 years ago to remove some info of the user because they didn't need any more data

@MischievousTomato@sementerrori.st well one of the extensions i use is also built into the browser, but not in a way I want, but it's still cool to have, it has an option to hibernate tabs so they aren' hogging resources, the extension i use lets you do it automatically, though I could live without it if i wanted
