       @tek this happens to me as well. basically if they use google maps they will find me, and if they use apple maps they won't. so that is a factor on whether they will get lost, give up, and invent a story that makes them look better.

       @tek maybe they are using ad tech to track down addresses and not maps. Can't see houses not seeing much of ads. 😁@rplevy

       @rplevy I didn't know that jibe against Apple Maps is still valid! I had read how bad it was when it first came out. I experienced first hands how ridiculous it was few years later and here I am reading your post mentioning a similar level of confidence in it being wrong.@tek

       @tek @dpreacher I my case it is not necessarily a jab at Apple Maps, just a specific fact that it systematically gets the route wrong near my home and sends people a way that won't work
