@macoman4u1 This makes no sense. Many of these businesses were shut down by the government and had to take what little money they got in order to survive. And now the government wants to punish them again and so they comply and it's their fault instead of the government?Any conservative who isn't for the business being punished throughout this bullshit should be ignored.

@umad80 Just be very skeptical, is my take on all of it. From "two weeks to stop the spread" to a stolen election and beyond. The "Big Lie" (if it exists) is not ONE lie. It's a permutation of corrupt souls in power who for have chosen $ as their god.P.S. Many of the businesses got what little money they did have to pay it back. Much of the money didn't come free, except for maybe the interest on the money accepted.

@umad80 @macoman4u1 Sadly, it isn't that black and white! Some of the bigger business are on board with the government 'punishing' their competition! (i.e. Amazon, Microsoft, etc. in my opinion.)And we know most of the social media sites, and most of the media are actually cheerleaders.We - conservatives - need a lot of discernment.

@macoman4u1 Yep. Without a certain amount of employees, you would have to pay the loan back. For instance, as a sole proprietor, I could take a loan for covid to help pay bills and such, but I would have to pay it back so it wasn't worth it to me even though I wasn't getting as many apartments as I was before the shutdown.

If some business didn't need the money and took it anyway, that's a very different argument.But if I owned a business that got shut down because it was deemed "non-essential" and I took the relief money and then was scared of being fined for not mandating the vaccine that's what I have to do to survive.Anyone saying any different clearly cares nothing for the small business.

@umad80That's assuming mandating a vaccine means you will survive. Jury is still out, and OSHA hasn't written the rules yet. The mandate was actually a media event declaring one.
