@Lisa22 @Josephcdickerson People have had almost two years to build their own comfortable home theaters if they had not already.The response of theaters has been to compete directly with our living rooms.Yet at the end of the day, all they are getting for show is mind-numbing, leftist revisionist gender-obliterating propaganda flicks.They may as well advertise “Joe Biden endorses this film”.This will not end well for them. Even the chicoms won’t watch this crap.

@EarlThePearls @Josephcdickerson Lately I've been watching Australian productions through a monthly Acorn subscription on Amazon. Just finished watching a real interesting, enjoyable and darkly amusing show called "Mr. Inbetween" - it's worth checking out if you haven't already.I wasn't going to watch it because I thought it was just a goofy 1/2 comedy show about a hit man, but it's much more than that.You'll likely need to use the closed captions feature due to the heavy accents tho, lol.

@EarlThePearls @Josephcdickerson BTW, IMDb gives it an 8.6/10 which is quite high. I've found their rating system to be one of the more useful ones - they seem to jibe most with my own impressions.

@EarlThePearls @Josephcdickerson Oops, I'm sorry - "Mr. Inbetween" is streaming on Hulu, not Acorn.I'm watching a different Australian show on Acorn, it's called "A Place to Call Home" - it's a melodrama so it's not for everyone. Takes place in the years directly after WWII but is really well done, terrific acting, dialogue, sets, the whole shebang - lots of fun, IF you like that sort of thing. I watch it on my own, my BF won't join me. Not his cup of tea, lol.

@EarlThePearls @Josephcdickerson That looks good - I'll give it a try. Thank you! Every once in awhile I'll spring for an HBO subscription for a few months, so I'll keep this in mind when I do. My daughter is a videographer and the show she works on has its second season beginning there soon - I'll save "Barry" for when I subscribe to HBO for her show, "How To with John Wilson," which is a quirky, well reviewed, little series showcasing NYC and lots of odd (very odd) events!

My daughter is thrilled to be working on it.She and John Wilson have been friends for years and they have similar filming styles, so working with him on a project she loves has been terrific for her.
