@kk i love riding my scooter, i can use bicycle roads and those are literally everywhere, the only time i ride it on car road is through residential areas where there's barely any traffic.I still think that 1000W limitation is dogshit tho, especially with these hills. At one hand i kinda do want to get a moped/motorcycle but on the other hand it means i won't be able to ride it on most of the bicycle roads (some bicycle roads DO allow mopeds tho)And if i want to move out far enough from civilization i would most likely need a car anyway.

@hj by bicycle roads do you mean a little corner of the roads bordered by the white paint, by using which you are basically signing a suicide pact, or an actual bicycle road

@kk it depends, there are many different types of them here. The most common types are:1) sidewalk that permits bicycles (mixed)1.1) same as above but pedestrian road (i.e. along railway/shoreline/in forest/in fields/etc)1.1.1) same as above but also has a dashed line to separate direction2) sidewalk that has line/curb/stones separated line for bicycles2.1) same as above but explicitly one/two way (normally it's bi-directional, if there's a dashed line you should stick to your side, if there's arrow above bicycle sign on road that's one-way only)3) bicycle lanes on road itself, those are quite rare actually, i think most often those are just outdated bicycle crossings4) bicycle-only roads, usually with a bicycle sign and/or 🚷 sign, often used when split sidewalk diverges, i.e. pedestrians go on shoreline and bicycles go on "sidewalk"🚷 next to road5) forest dirt/gravel/asphalt roads, essentially same as 1, but there are A LOT of forest roads and they are quite wide and maintained, they even use machines to make ski tracks (and flatten the snow) during winter.finns LOVE their bicyclespyorailija_jussihellsten.jpgKapyla_Helsinki_bicycle_traffic…bike-pedestrian-equality.jpghel4.jpgDSC_0510-copy.jpgBaana,_a_bicycle_lane_in_the_ce…image.png

@kk technology that gets introduced as optional later becomes mandatory
