@Greannach @deprecated worth mentioning: I HAVE turned down several job offers that would require me to move to a city. Even if the pay is higher, it's not worth it since you end up spending x10 more to live there

@RustyCrab @deprecated That is very forward thinking of you. I've lived in a couple different spots but mostly in large cities and I came to realize maybe 5 years ago now that, apart from everyone hating you and the soul crushing culturlessness of our international hotel style of urban planning, I really gain no benefit at all to justify the costs. Of course just as I was prepared to move the pandemic started and it completely ass rammed our rural real estate market.
