Dick and Chris are all up in my tl on that one, but never this one, in both cases after a disagreement, and no other similar cases. I don't know what the mechanism is; quite probably the effect was not the intent. Fedi's really weird; when you block individuals or even instances, they can still see your posts. I have no idea how mute works, but maybe that's the culprit.

If we did get video game instances, they would either largely be unused or the users would demand to end up on the other side of the Rainbow Curtain. There's also the issue of competing with Twitter, Reddit, and Discord, media that aren't as widely embraced by Japanese as Westerners.

Two particles colliding can be described by just a few numerical quantities and some simple equations. From that macroscopic fluid dynamics PDEs are not be far away.The same really does not hold for most human interactions. Interestingly (from something I only vaguely remember) this approach actually *does* work in certain special cases, e.g. traffic flow models, where interactions are actually not all that complex and there they (apparently) work, even though obviously the number of "atoms" involved is minuscule compared to what happens in a gas.

Which is the case companies, almost always, care about.

My hypothesis about the Nash Equilibrium was an attempt to model the concept of “Free Competition”. My reasoning was that : in a free interacting system, the equilibrium is never reached because of particle collision, BUT your AVERAGE value of the parameter constrain has to be equal to the equilibrium value. Since a Hard Nash Equilibrium means that all the agents in the system agrees on a “good enough ROI” that they all stop competing with each other, it seemed to me like the perfect condition to establish as an hypothesis of Free Competition : that the parameter constrain in the system’s equilibrium has to be equal to the value of the system’s constrain parameter in a Hard Nash Equilibrium. As such, values like price and utilities change from point to point around the Hard Nash Equilibrium but they never reach it ( although my guess is that they will very close in cases of monopolies ).
