@EarlThePearls Probably about the same. And if they aren't empty they aren't fully stocked. And the stock that is not there changes from time to time. And sometimes it's something strange. This weekend The chip isle looked like a pic from a soviet grocery.

@EarlThePearls The Aldi store was almost totally out of rice. Areas in their freezers were empty. The Walmarts here are so different. The closest one has had stocking issues throughout all of Covid. If we go to one 15 miles away, they are fully stocked - just not canning supplies. We recently crossed the state for a wedding, so stopped at 3-4 Walmarts just to see. Low canning supplies, but seemed to have all else.

@EarlThePearls I live in NW Montana. Went to the only grocery store a our small town and guess what was in extremely short supply?Corn and flour tortillas. Weird. Usually, There is a large end cap loaded with many different kinds. Luckily I found a package, but almost had to drive 30 miles “in to town” to get them.

@EarlThePearls stores in my area of NE Ohio have been filling empty shelves with available stock for months. Potato chips and cereal now appear in several aisles, etc.

@EarlThePearls OMGosh I am laughing at the memory of my one and ONLY attempt. New boyfriend (back in 1990). I Tried to make corn tortillas with masa stuff. Wanted to give him a real authentic Mexican meal. The tortilla mixture glopped in my hands and was stuck to my fingers/hands. No rescuing. HE went to the store to buy some. Never again! 🤣🤣🤣
