I like Catholicism to a certain degree, but I think for most of its history the only thing that kept it from crumbling into nothingness is God's respect for the faithful. Now that most people have turned away from God pretty much every Christian institution is gay and retarded. I know I'm not really in line with most people when I say this, but returning to tradition really isn't the greatest idea. We know that the Catholic Church is the true Church for four reasons. There are four marks to the true Church. I think the image describes most of these well enough, but I will elaborate on apostolic. There is an unbroken line of succession going back all the way to the apostles. This means that the apostles consecrated bishops, and then those bishops consecrated bishops, and so on, all the way to today. There is not a break anywhere in the chain from then to now. The Orthodox are also apostolic, but they miss the other marks. And protestants miss all four marks. Thank you friend.

Most of what is described never happened (most notoriously the book of Esther and book of Daniel), while some things did like the Babylonian exile under the Neo-Babylonian Empire but not exactly like they claim. Moses would have been written of in Egypt had he existed. He wasn't, because he didn't.

I should add too that the anglicans are not valid priests, because they have an invalid ordination. You also need a valid priest to absolve you in confession. We can pray for forgiveness, but the ordinary way that God forgives us is through the sacrament of confession. Outside of that you are forgiven of all of your sins at baptism, and in cases of perfect contrition. But perfect contrition is very hard to achieve, so do not rely on it. Thank you friend.
