       @redwhitebluedude People hear red flag laws and automatically think the worse. Those laws have been in effect for a while and no real insanity has happened.As long as you have checks and balances in place, they should work.

       @umad80 @redwhitebluedude I feel like fearing the worst is the first thing that should be thought when the government gets that kind of "weapon" no? Why would you assume it wouldn't be abused?  Especially when the party that has all three branches of government has made it clear their agenda is to try to have extremely strict gun control laws.

       @redwhitebluedude Red flag laws will be abused, expanded, and further abused.The goal is citizen disarmament.  They start with the "obvious nuts." And go from there.

       @redwhitebluedude I'd rather we get the intelligence agencies off of their ass when they receive multiple tips about the same individual. I think these laws would see much greater use as legal cudgels than they would as effective safety implements.
