All the horror stories about these drugs are more than true.I know I probably don't seem to be "any better" to some of you fedis on here but this sort of shit is why I stick to weed and literally nothing else. At least there are SOME reported "benefits" to marijuana. Besides being an incredibly effective painkiller what the fuck does an opiate have to offer besides endless addiction?

At least marijuana won't kill me. But what I mean is, opiates don't cause health problems like meth and cocaine. Assuming the person always has their opiate, and is stable on the amount taken, they can go their whole life taking them on the daily. Sorry for wall of txt.

The physical effects of abuse of both drugs are nearly permanent changes to the structure of the brain, and the dopamine system. Both drugs also have commercially available light doses.The reason I'd give the edge to meth over heroin is all the junkies around me are nodders. This may just be the fentanyl era, though, I've never lived in middle america or wherever meth used to be super popular.

I'm sure they do whatever is available and mix everything whenever possible, but very clearly the drug of choice is iv opiates. Schizophrenics usually cannot tolerate marijuana because of how THC affects the brain, for schizos it essentially ramps up their symptoms to a dangerous high. I've personally witnessed this because a family member sadly suffers from this mental problem. If people have their reasons or personal experiences that puts them off from this stuff that's more power to them. Ain't my place to judge anyone on that footnote.TL;DR, drugs affect all people all very differently, and it can be the case from "safer" choices like weed/psychedelic mushrooms, to the more harder choices like amphetamines and worse.
