       @Hayling I don't think you even remotely understand my post. this isn't about voting disenfranchisement or resource allocation. it's my experience as a POC, who could be murdered there, being told "it's not all that bad" by whites in the south. it is, in fact, THAT BAD.

       @alexlaw I'm a very out, very visibly trans woman. Oklahoma is an open carry state. I worry about being murdered every time I walk out of my door, which is not often. I -know- it's that bad. I'm not denying the lava is real, and dangerous. I'm saying that we're shouting because we are out here every day, living close enough for it to scald.
