I never want a w*man touching my cars, they drive it ONE time and damage it even if everything is in perfect working order. Sister borrows my car to go to the doctor(for no reason I guarantee, she's a hypochondriac spoiled bitch) and complains that my car "got the key stuck in the steering wheel", no retard, you turned it to accessoryIt's weird how when I was driving her old car I never had a problem, and then my dad drove it for awhile, and then suddenly when she drives it it magically starts breaking down all the time, my dad gets it back and starts driving it and lets her drive his truck and lo and behold he mysteriously doesn't have a problem with it, however the car's frontend starts shaking after awhile when you go over 40 mph(which I'm sure in no way shape or form was from her being a retard and curb checking) so eventually we sell itI had a nice ramcharger and used to drive it but sold it because the gas prices during the obama admin and because the trans was starting to go(started slipping at 3rd gear) and it sucks too because it had great 4 wheel drive and is a nice looking SUV, I miss that truck but my brother said fixing the trans would be a nightmare for a mechanic shop let alone us doing it ourselves and not worth the cost

@roeboedog exactly. as a driver you should be able to tell when your car's idle is different without any gauges, just judging by the sound you should be able to tell and you should always periodically check fluids and tire pressure regardless

@Mogami no my dad has a manual and only he and I know how to drive it(shocking, right?), but even if she knew how to drive manual she still would have flipped out over the 'key being stuck' because she would forget or completely miss the unlock button on the steering column

@astolfo cars are difficult to work on, but not maintain. So long as you don't drive or operate the vehicle like an idiot and keep up on fluid levels you'll be fine. A lot of people think they can just jump in a car, turn the key, and go, instead of turning the key to the on position to let the fuel pump turn on, starting the car, then waiting for the engine to warm up for about a minute while you're closing the door and putting the reddit belt on. Changing headlights and taillights are no big deal, you don't wanna touch the bulb in case the oil or grease on your hand gets on it and heats up in the headlight cover

@sharutiaburaddofouren yeah letting the engine warm up and sometimes checking the oil and tires is basically all I really know for maintenance and I literally only know that because I've heard coworkers bitching about women not knowing that they need to do that, then thought to myself "Huh I didn't know I need to do that"
