       @RoseThistle @YoungBlood @RoseThistle  correct..Those are split reins. Western riders use them. You have 2 separate reins, they cross over in the middle and the extra hangs down the horse's shoulder and you can also hold it in your other hand.  Some people though on twitter are so clueless and prefer to draw a negative narritive.They probably have never ridden a horse before or possibly ever seen one in person

They arent being hit with a whip,those  are split reins used to control the horse.Notice the rider is grabbing the man with his hand.Not whipping him as the left would have you believe.What I do see being abused is our country and Texas which is inside our borders.With wide open borders we dont have a country.These people arent vetted,Cartels openly entering, they are bringing disease's,ruining farms,homes etc,What they are doing is abusing us
