Have been waiting a bit to comment on the Sussman indictment.My personal take - having been obsessed with this despicable crime for years - is that Durham has made a very strategic move here.You can view the law firm Perkins Coie like a bullseye. Targeting Sussman (I also believe Elias, who left the firm in recent weeks, is in the frame) and Perkins Coie is going to scare the living daylights out of all the right people.People are complaining that the indictment isn't enough, without realizing that Sussman has probably thrown a lot of people under the bus to get it. Again, the crooks will understand what Durham is signalling to them.

@REX Folks can complain all they want.The only reason this indictment is going on now is because it was about to hit the statute of limitations.Otherwise it would have been part of a much larger dragnet.I do like where it's going, but it's going to be quite a while before we get there.A lot of folks will be soiling their Depends in the meantime.

@RealTownFloozie DOJ extremely corrupt, so they'll do everything they can to close Durham down, frustrate prosecutions, steer any prosecutions to Obama judges etc.Somehow I think Durham will have known this. Let's see what happens.

ADDENDUM: I am hearing Elias flipped. Sussman was his #2 and point man, so he is legally more exposed. Durham offered him 'lie to FBI' charge as part of a deal.Perkins Coie partnership demanded they both leave. The full equity partners are totally freaking out.Durham also has all the internal Perkins Coie comms of Elias, Sussman and others.It's BIG. Caveat - my sources are a bit hit and miss. @REX I see two possibilities.1. Sussman talked, getting indicted on a lesser charge in exchange for giving evidence on bigger fish at PC and the Spygate players.2. He threw a bone to you, Trump, and others who have been asking "Where's Durham?". If he has been at it for 3-4 years he has little to show for it. We will know the answer over time. Either more indictments or Durham settles in for another long winters nap.

@redwhitebluedude @REX They may not flinch like Nixon, but I think in their efforts to try to claim they're not guilty of anything, they just might make a mistake and accidentally incriminate themselves. The one thing that Rex may have missed is: the wording of the indictment gives Durham access to the Hillary campaign. This is why they are possibly pissing themselves.
