@sjw Look how closely this random dude is to a track currently moving probably many millions of dollars worth of weapons. @sjw and tanks need to be transported all the time between being deployed, maintained, rebuilt, put in storage, taken out of storage, refurbished or scrapped between all the military bases, depots, factories and facilities

@kerosene Yee reliance on rails was one of the reasons Europe got so fucked in WWII. Drop a bomb on train tracks and you take out the whole railway. Here in the US drop some bombs on our roads all we gotta do is fill the holes work dirt and/or gravel and they're drivable. If the damage isn't too bad it doesn't even need that. It just might be a little bumpy.

@sjw @kerosene however it's insanely less expensive and complicated to use one train that might run on coal or dirty oil to ship thousands of tons in hundreds of containers over each container needing a truck, diesel and a driver taking space and wear on the roads

@sjw @kerosene best they could do is take out bridges over major rivers.....but we're not trapped in here with them, they're trapped in here with us.and now they've created an even bigger logistics problem for their most loyal subjects in big cities surrounded or divided by bodies of water. can't get chickens from the meat packing plant in iowa to the fine purveyors of fried chicken in chicago's nigger zone if the bridge is out.....finally, they realize that rednecks are more likely than anyone else to own boats.

@deprecated @RacistReimu @sjw I remember throwing track one time driving a M113. It was hours to fix because there wasn’t an 88 available to tow to a better area to fix it. I think that was my first ftx as a driver.I always enjoyed driving, but sometimes it was a chore. During maintenance you’d be after hours sometimes when everybody else was off. Still, I learned how to drive so many different kinds of vehicles. I was the license guy in all my units.

@GuyBosch @deprecated @sjw yeah people dont realize that after a couple hundred miles of driving (even worse if offroad) tanks all break down and need major maintenance and repair, they have flatbeds carrying fresh replacement tanks following the force replacing those who break down
