       I'm confused by all of the layers of abstration when dealing with #matrix on top of #irc. I like that with Element I essentially have my own bouncer and can pick up the conversation without constantly being attached to IRC, but I can't wrap my head around the whole setup. Not that I participate much in IRC regardless.... :/
