       @AnneBevan @mochi Healthy long hair is a sign of youth and fertility biologically because it reveals good health and being well fed over years. So conscious or unconscious "letting your hair down" is sexually attractive.Probably why it has been covered in many cultures, or married women cover. This should obviously also apply to men and I am trying to remember why its not such a strong sign in men (talking of the days when everyone wore long hair - so not just the cultural preference for short hair in men). 🤔
