       @realcaseyrollins @ademalsasa e2ee seems to be far down the roadmap and i don't see any federation options.you can self host though.

       @prep yep fedi is not perfect, it's meant to be sort of public. use case is different too. good site 👍 I use matrix, briar, session. Signal is more shit than they made it to be though.

       @prep @akeno Matrix itself does not require email to sign up, bit the server admin can change that. Mattermost is OK, but open core, Rocket.chat is better IMO.  But neither have end to end encryption.
