If you are on biktorgj's FOSS modem firmware, there is a release https://github.com/Biktorgj/pinephone_modem_sdk/releases/tag/0.3.4 which *might* fix the modem doesn't wake from suspend issue.

@mobian there are looks like there are still situations where the modem doesn't wake, so this might be helpful for folks already using some older version of their FOSS fw, but probably want to stay on stock for now if that's what you have right now.

@craftyguy @mobian for me it works better than the stock firmware. I get far less drops and now have a signal inside my house.

@craftyguy @mobian it does seem to vary with people and devices. I'm also now running #manjaroARM and #phosh not Mobian, so that is also a factor.

@mobian There may be a "waiting for orders" error on flashing the new release on "fastboot oem stay" This isn't a fatal error and can be ignored.

@mobian I've installed it this morning, no problems yet. Previous versions would definitely fail at least twice a day. Nice improvement!

@craftyguy yep agreed. However, for some on stock firmware the situation is also bad, so it really seems to depend on a lot of factors. (carrier, kernel, HW(?), specific versions of MM, eg25-manager,...)

@mobian ok it's substantially better now with 0.3.5, for me at least. Went from having the modem disappearing every ~3-6 hours to almost 2 days now without having to reboot to recover it!

@mobian @kop316 everything works now.the reason of the bug is that I had a mobian/bookworm foot and a debian/bullseye foot in /etc/apt/sources.*.
