       @smays Some conservatives claim their stance against a woman's right to choose is based on a concern for the life of the baby, but after the baby is born, their political views are often hostile to the welfare of that same child. They want to defund social programs that promote well-being and education. A view that is widely held to be hypocritical by fair-minded people.

       @smays They also often overlook or brush aside any concern for orphaned children who do not have a family. Obviously, some do adopt, but there are more orphans than there are homes for them, so these kids grow up believing that no one wanted them.
