This morning I applied updates to my #postmarketOS edge #Phosh install on my #Pinephone. I noticed that PulseAudio was installed and Pipewire was purged. I wonder what was that about? 🤔

@normandc I've been recently trying to debug some issues between pipewire/alsa-ucm on my pinephone. I've got no audio 😅 maybe related?

@torbuntu @normandc I think modem/sound tweaks on the PinePhone aren't yet working with PipeWire, I couldn't get it to work on Mobian either.

@Jojonintendo @normandc it was working great until pretty recently for fedora. Both hifi and voice calls with switching worked fine. Now not at all.

@torbuntu @normandc Hm I've not tried Fedora on the PinePhone, I'll certainly do it. It might be the only distro I didn't use yet.

@Jojonintendo @normandc There aren't any official builds yet. But a remix is being worked on here https://github.com/nikhiljha/pp-fedora-sdsetup/ latest image I built ie actually using btrfs which is cool. But no audio makes it kind of sad heh

@torbuntu @normandc btrfs is definitely good, I've used openSUSE on the PinePhone and even snapper works fine, but the distro wasn't as polished as Mobian. But it's all moving fast, and in the good direction. Exciting times to have a PinePhone!

@JojonintendoI'm currently on postmarketOS, it feels snappier than Mobian. Firefox launches in about half the time. But I haven't tried Mobian since the Bullseye release. And there are quirks in pmOS...@torbuntu

@Jojonintendo @torbuntuI would get back to Mobian if I could install KDE packages... Specifically, Angelfish, Koko and Calindori. The first two are available as flatpaks, but are old versions; the third isn't available.
