I've almost exclusively used Ubuntu & Debian since 2008. I'm going to move my desktop over to Arch in the next day or so...kind of nervous.I've spent the last few days re-encoding all my movies, compressing files etc. to move them to a remote server (becaue I wasn't smart enough to set up a /home partition previously)

I've gotten all the prep work done, written down a game plan, and the only thing I have left to do is grab another USB to put another iso on it just in case I royally fuck it up

@TheNerdyAnarchist Gentoo is fun! If you've got the power/time for compiling.Just as a side note. If you want a more binary(pre-built) Gentoo try sabyon.Tho i think they are re-branding and re-basing to Funtoo. Funtoo is also source based. It's actually originally forked from Gentoo by one of the original creators fo Gentoo.
