But at least back then there was enough of a stigma toward posing nude to help me back up my choice to decline those demands. How do we protect the girls from being exploited now, when sending nudes is being normalized by their older sisters, and sometimes even their mothers? Men are behind facilitating this exploitation by setting up the infrastructure to tap into the side gig economy in a way that looks like the women are in charge of it. Women are not seeing that OnlyFans is a trap set up my men. They think they are in control of their content, and that it's a harmless source of income that has limitless growth potential, if only us mean feminists will stop shaming them for doing it. The opposite is true- the more this is normalized, the less the images will be worth, and competition will push them to share more extreme images. Those images are being shared from one man to the next, and they can never be eliminated. Men won't stop pursuing this form of adult "entertainment" unless there are significant penalties for downloading or sharing this content, and it's unlikely that's going to happen. We have to somehow reach young women before they get pulled into this nightmare. How do we convince these women they will be exploited in a way that will eventually ruin their lives, and that they will also be contributing to the exploitation of other women and girls? Instead of teaching elementary school kids about the zillion genders and pronouns of a contrived ideology, we should be pushing schools to deal with the porn problem. Take the boys into groups to discuss why it's horrible to objectify girls. Take the girls aside to learn how to establish and defend their boundaries. Teach the parents how to use filters to limit adult content on devices. Pressure the smartphone industry to provide ways for parents to block adult content on their children's phones. And we need to start circulating a list of the sponsors and investors in the platforms that host porn. Unfortunately, none of these steps will be effective if we cannot convince women to stop selling nudes. These selfish pick-me assholes are going to fight us every step of the way. 🙁

I don't think OneDrive or email is the same as a social media site, designed to network large groups of people, that explicitly allows sexual content. tbh, the distribution of illegal porn is a weak point of fedi which has several pro-MAP instances 😫
