And we're only seeing what the "resistance" wants us to see from their end.I seem to recall Mr. Wictor mentioning many times about the tanks and things that just seemed to "pop up" out of nowhere in another kerfuffle. @ThomasWic Another excellent thread, thank you! There is soo much disinfo out there and people in doom-gloom mode, saying "oh the Chinese are going to control everything! They will take over!" I just think, "They can try but they will fail." They have had their asses handed to them in skirmishes at the LAC with India, and the Gulf Arabs mean business. :)

@ThomasWic The National Flag protests were breaking out all over Afghanistan almost immediately after the Taliban came through.I could not make heads or tails of it then and I am still seeing them happen.Between that, the prisoner releases and the flood of people coming over the border into Afghanistan certainly created enough chaos for these GCC troops to slip in undetected.Anyhow, GCC being in there creates enormous opportunities that did not previously exist.Thanks for the info sir!

@ThomasWic I don't think that this was a coincidence that the counterattack happened after Ghani resigned his presidency. Having the newly elevated Caretaker president in camp with them gives them legitimacy. Having Saleh, Mohammedi and Massoud backed up by the GCC gives them credibility and enough strength to take out the Taliban. I predict that they will retake total control of Afghanistan by September 11.
