Anonymous internet janitor *girl_undone* accused me of manufacturing drama on Ovarit so that I could make money on youtube talking about it. She implied that drama manufacturing/trolling was the sole reason that I was on the site and the real reason that I was banned (the "racism" thing was just a nice way to try to ruin my reputation on my way out, apparently). 1. Anyone who can find a single troll/drama post/comment I have made on there in my whole history is welcome to try, you'll be a while going through my 1300 good faith posts and comments, though. Have fun reading, you'll learn a lot about radical feminism.2. This is my youtube revenue in the under 2 weeks my channel has been monetized. Only two of those videos do I even mention Ovarit. The separatist video, in which I mentioned Ovarit in one sentence (that Ovarit is not a safe place to discuss separatism, which it is not). I made $0.12 on that video. And Too Hot for Ovarit, $0.06. So $0.18 total.girl_undone, quit your bullshit.

@lucretiamott Aren’t all of the Ovarit mods anonymous? I read through the Ovarit thread about you and it was a tad ridiculous. The mod was automatically believed and you weren’t. I couldn’t believe how many people were saying the “through their veins” line was literal. (It’s a very common saying. It’s not racist in the least.)As I read the thread, I was sitting there thinking “what about the WHITE men who left the USA to leave the Taliban? CHECKMATE, OVARIT!” Or have allllllll those women had their heads in the sand and weren’t aware that middle class white men from the USA were leaving and joining the Taliban? But what if every single man in the Taliban was indeed of one race? Does this mean that they are exempt from being criticized for their extreme misogyny? This is my takeaway from what happened on Ovarit. The mods are going down that woke path and it’s just sad. (Too much of the site is just random Twitter or tumblr screenshots for my liking anyway.)

@RockTheBoat Everything they said about me was a lie, that anyone would believe it is sad. It should be so clear from my videos, my posts and and my willingness to put my real life persona (I literally use my real name, face and voice to advocate for women's rights) into the fight for women's rights (something they aren't willing to do) that I am a genuine person who actually cares about women. There's a reason they won't post the exchange we had - it would show that they're lying. They defended the actual Taliban insisting that I wasn't giving credit to the "good ones" and I was suggesting all brown people (men amd women) should be killed. I obviously never said any such idiotic thing. I can't post the exchange (I did post a paraphrase and the one screenshot I had) because they locked me out of my account, so they can just lie about me without providing receipts. It's unbelievable anyone would side with them though. I got marked back in March or whenever it was when I said wearing makeup is an antifeminist action. Too many women on that site disagree and think it's empowering and "my choice". Which is literal liberal feminist bullshit. Girl undone said it herself that they just used this as an excuse to get rid of me, they'd been wanting to do so for a while. Anyways I've said all I can say to clear my name. Feminists have been trashing each other for years though so this is nothing new. We don't need the man to keep us down, we've been hammering down any nails that stick up forever. Spend any time on ovarit and you'll see defenses of patriarchy everywhere. That's the obsidian pill. These women don't actually have any interest in being liberated themselves, and they'll pull down any crabs at the lip of the bucket. Better to just stay quiet. I would've never put my name and face into the fight if I knew they'd slander me - I stood up for THEM and this is how they treated me. I literally came out of the terf closet to defend them after the Atlantic article. That's how much I cared, and this is how I was treated. They'll do it to anyone who steps out of line.

@lucretiamott @RockTheBoat Those "Feminist" will attack anyone who says makeup is antifeminist or that choosing to be with a man or giving birth especially a male is anti feminist actions. They say my choice blah blah. Not every choice is a feminist choice. What angers me is that they claim to be feminists and defend these choices.

@lucretiamott Such money! Such wealth! That really seems like the kind of money to make any sort of effort for. Right?I don't really follow the Ovarit drama, mostly because I don't like that kind of site architecture. But it doesn't seem like there is much of a monetary thing going on here. But below I saw some mentions of racism. Could I ask what that's about? If it's about criticising groups like the Taliban, well, honestly, it's impossible to be a vaguely decent human being and to not have a ton of criticism for those rapists.

@Raunchel yes, I said that men who rape 12 year old girls are "a lower form of human being" which they took as me advocating for genocide of all brown people. They said "not all men in the taliban are like that, you can't generalize them". So that's their stance, and people who disagree get called racist and kicked off their site.

@lucretiamott Not brave, just antisocial and disillusioned with people, as well as considerably self-centred. If I at any point start putting my full, true thoughts out there, I’m going to start racking up enemies in every camp, so I might as ready myself. Hell, even you might end up hating my guts eventually.Btw, I’m an only child and have no sisters. I appreciate you mean well, but I personally don’t like being called terms like that by people I’m not related to (same goes for “auntie”, popular in some languages). @RockTheBoat @sleepwalker

@lucretiamott These women don’t actually have any interest in being liberated themselves, and they’ll pull down any crabs at the lip of the bucket. In my opinion, what’s happening is that they’re deeply invested in their identity as “feminists”, and when you say that wearing make-up is antifeminist, they experience that not as a disagreement, but as a direct attack against who they are. I suspect they interpret it as you saying that they are antifeminist. And that of course makes them angry at you, at which point they want to come after you personally. But people seem to be taking even normal disagreements personally very easily. And social media seems to encourage this, since it rewards greater engagement and the more inflammatory someone’s comment, the more engagement it almost inevitably gets. Problem is, once one starts taking someone’s disagreement personally, whatever they have done earlier doesn’t really matter anymore, because one is only focused on what one sees as the betrayal or attack. @RockTheBoat

@Gnomeshatecheese @RockTheBoat I agree with the point you're making. I mean wearing makeup is antifeminist. If WWCTRF feel personally attacked by that they have to alleviate the cognitive dissonance somehow. In this case they chose to do so by attempting to destroy a feminist activist's reputation and ostracizing her from the community rather than letting go of the mascara. They doubled down on their antifeminism. It's completely transparent to anyone with more than half a brain cell (not talking about you). These women want the label of "radical feminist" without doing any work, and while tearing down other women who are doing the work. What is the point of fighting on their behalf like I've been doing all year? They love their chains and see women who've broken free as the enemy.

@lucretiamott I’m going to put it out there that I don’t actually really agree that wearing make-up is as such and necessarily antifeminist (I don’t think it’s feminist either). But that’s very much besides the point. Or rather, the fact that I disagree, but still have no interest in attacking you, is the point. I don’t think this is about them being antifeminist, or about alleviating cognitive dissonance. I think it’s about them feeling personally attacked, because to them being a “feminist” means essentially being “a good person” and that is very important to their self-image. Ideally, they would be able to take your statement and go “well that’s what she thinks, let’s see if I agree with her reasoning or not”. But they either won’t or can’t, and instead their reaction seems to be “omg she’s calling me a (insert horrible thing here)”. Similar behaviour crops up also from the other direction, so I don’t think it’s just about loving one’s chains. I think what is going on is a more general problem. And I agree that it poses a big challenge to the “movement” as a whole, such as it is. People should be able to discuss difficult topics and disagree without feeling personally attacked, or enganging in personal attacks, or at least without that becoming overwhelmingly common. Otherwise the whole thing crumbles. @RockTheBoat

@lucretiamott What sort of time frame do you have in mind when you say not that long ago? I do suspect that social media is making this exponentially worse, as together with ubiquitous smartphones it seems to result in people losing all self-moderation. @RockTheBoat

@Gnomeshatecheese @RockTheBoat Less than a year ago I was having chill as hell conversations with women who we disagreed on these very topics. Maybe it's a lockdown thing I don't know. Everyone's lost their mind?I mean, you and I don't agree entirely but we can sit here and discuss it like adults - what is so hard about that?

@lucretiamott A lot of people are saying that the lockdown and covid-stress have made people stir-crazy. There may well be something to that. If that’s the case, it’s anyone’s guess as to whether this’ll blow over or become the new normal. And regarding the like adults, exactly. I don’t get it either. I mean, I get that it’s tempting to behave like a brat and shout and scream at others just because or say nasty things about people behind their backs, but adults are supposed to, you know, know better. And it’s not the most difficult temptation in the world to resist, especially online where disengaging until one has calmed down is so damn easy. @RockTheBoat

@lucretiamott @Gnomeshatecheese @RockTheBoat maybe you were lucky. I was dealing with histrionic displays for as long as I've been in online feminism, and that's about 5 years. I've also been on reddit GC for 2 or 3 years and it always had this kind of discourse too. It definitely didn't start last year.

@sleepwalker @Gnomeshatecheese @RockTheBoat To be honest it really started for me when I went public as a terf. I got basically zero backlash on my writing when I was anon, but after I revealed who I am IRL, when I wrote almost the exact same thoughts/essays I got waves of disapproval.Maybe I should've stayed anon. I truly feel that some people didn't want me (or possibly anyone, besides JK & Magdalen) speaking up on their behalf and lashed out in these weird ways. It's bizarre. It's honestly made me want to crawl back into the shadows and take up some other hobby and say "bye bye feminists, have fun with your pretend fight". I risked my whole reputation to be forever branded as a terf and never be able to get a job at anywhere "woke" again (which is everywhere), to go to bat for these women (and all women), and THEY'RE the ones that canceled me. I mean, I am still astonished by the whole thing.

@lucretiamott That’s very interesting. I’m probably going to self-doxx at some point, but I don’t have a dedicated platform from which to speak. @Gnomeshatecheese @RockTheBoat @sleepwalker I used to be really supportive of women who wanted to come out of the terf closet but now I don't know any more. Are women who don't truly want to be liberated worth fighting for? My advice would probably just be to look after yourself.

@lucretiamottI’m not really “fighting” for people, whatever I do is firstly because I don’t want to live in a world where truth and facts don’t matter and secondly because if genderism succeeds, advancing women’s position, or possibly even holding on to achieved gains, will in my opinion become impossible. Anyway, people I know in IRL already all know I’m a flaming Wrongthinker (i.e. a “TERF”). So I’m only one step away from being full-on out. @RockTheBoat @sleepwalker

@Gnomeshatecheese @RockTheBoat @sleepwalker "I don’t want to live in a world where truth and facts don’t matter"this was me, too. galileo was my biggest inspiration. lock me up, idc, I'll never say a man in a dress is any kind of 'woman'. ultimately, though, when you come out in the terf wars you are fighting for women. and people (including other women) don't like people who fight for women.

@lucretiamott Well, it’s been a long time since I cared about people not liking me. Don’t get me wrong, I am mentally preparing myself for a possible second large wave of bullying in my life, but if it happens, this time I’m prepared. Regardless of which direction it comes from. @RockTheBoat @sleepwalker
