I have a close family member that used to drive tour coaches overland through Europe all the way to Afghanistan. He loved it, he had some wonderful times there with wonderful people. @ThomasWic @EngOnDemand @Debradelai Since, "The Talliban" haven't engaged our military at the airport, I wonder if it's actually the GCC that are protecting the the foreigners at the airport. But, as you said in a previous thread, just about everything coming out of Afghanistan is misinformation. The popcorn continues to pop.

@ThomasWic The quickest way to raise the morale of the forces would be to clean house at the top of the military leadership structure.Two centuries ago, there would be a crucial moment in war where generals would have to be shot. We don't do that, but we can send enough of them off that academia wouldn't even want them.
