Right wingers be mad that #JoeBiden pulled out of #Afghanistan but that's highkey what I've always wanted and it's been a long time comingWe've spent billions upon billions of dollars and sacrificed countless American lives for decades just propping up a weak government that doesn't do anything for themselves, we don't owe them anything as a government It's sad to watch the people suffer--especially since many of those who are suffering the most are #Christian missionaries--but at the end of the day, that's the local government's fault, don't blame us for their ineptitude

@realcaseyrollins I don't know what the split is, but I think most right wingers are upset that Biden botched this so badly, not that we're leaving Afghanistan.

@realcaseyrollins @Laconicif iirc, they were mad when biden said he was pushing the withdrawal date back from march to sep 11. Not mad we were leaving (trump set up the march deadline) but that he was delaying in a transparent play to use Sep 11 for his own agrandizment.

@realcaseyrollins I don’t think they’re mad he pulled out, they’re mad he was forced out at gunpoint, especially after Biden was so confident we’d win and we spent so many decades there. I mean Trump was the most anti-war President in my lifetime, and I didn’t see any Republicans complaining until it was pretty much over

@realcaseyrollins I wish the withdrawal of civilians had been managed before the withdrawal of troops. It's a failure of a duty of care of governments towards there citizens (Australia in my case). https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-08-16/australians-afghanistan-taliban-threat-government-help/100381738
