I am part of the MODERNA study. I was vaccinated August 2020 and fully vaccinated September 2020. In late march of 2021, I contracted COVID. I did not know until I went for my monthly check in and blood draw for the Study. They called and said I have been exposed.I incurred no doctor visits nor hospital visits, and no medications. Nor was I bed ridden. I played 18 holes of golf three days a week, walking. I experienced zero breathing issues.

@ChicagoScott COVID has a 99% recovery rate. It&#39;s doubtful anyone would have died. The only way anyone there is gonna die by suffocating is due to the lack of a safe word.

@Kat I suspect it is the amount and levels of COVID exposure too. I have an associate, 67 years of age, in better than average health. He worked out three days per week. Was of ave. weight, but had high blood pressure. July 2020 he got COVID. He spent 2 weeks in bed. He was miserable and could hardly breath.Took him 8 weeks after bedridden to recover his strength.The choice to get vaccinated is yours alone.It will not effect me.

@ManuelCerdan1 Recovery rates are both age and health related.For comparison here are two 1) The CDC recovery rankings by age.2) Illinois recovery by ages as of July 30th. 2021&lt;20 to 49 years of age 100%50 to 59 years of age 99%60 to 69 years of age 97%70 to 79 years of age 92%80 plus years of age 80%In Illinois I have been tracking the COVID numbers since March of 2020.

@ChicagoScott I don’t know why it’s one or the other. There a whole group who had it that has been left out. They are told to get the jab anyway. To me that’s playing a crazy game. How can you say the human body is less effective that a man made drug. The fact they are frantic about it really is disturbing.

The only reason you did know is because you were in the study in the first place. There is so much misinformation out there it is stunning. That does not mean that the vaccine is perfect, nor does it mean that there are no severe side effects for some. @WeThePeople_Awakened I would never tell a person what medically they need to do.That is between you and physician.Anecdotal - in August 2020 I played golf with a mid 30 something dentist. He attended Harvard. He and his medical associates got COVID in March/April 2020. They did monthly blood draws. According to him, each month the Antibody count went down and continued to decline.My study is for 24 months to learn how effective and how long the antibodies last.
