Been having issues at work with the 16 inch MacBook Pro connecting to thunderbolt docking stations that have a display connected. Apple points the finger at the manufacturer and the manufacturer points the finger at Apple… where is the justice for the users who suffer?

@brandon Are you sure the docking station is thunderbolt, and not USB-C/Alt-DP? Mac doesn’t tend to play well with that:https://www.reddit.com/r/AskTechnology/comments/dkhtly/displayport_alt_mode_doesnt_work_mac/

@Ateriath very sure, I’ve even narrow this down specifically to thunderbolt docks, USB-C docks have no issue

@brandon Guess you’ll just have to install Linux on it and try again. ::ohgno::
