@Wicche IT'S REALLY WEIRD WHEN WOKENESS GOES FULL CIRCLE AND PEOPLE BECOME WHAT THEY ATTEMPT TO FIGHT. HEGALIAN TACTICS ALWAYS SEEM TO LEAD TO THIS SORT OF CONFLICT.I THINK ELEMENTARY KIDS ARE TOO YOUNG TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HAS HAPPENED WITH RACISM, PERSONALLY. THEY SHOULD BE IN A BUBBLE OF WHAT THE WORLD COULD BE LIKE. THERE SHOULD BE MORE FOCUS ON PREVENTING PREDATORY ADULTS FROM MOLESTING THEM AND LESS FOCUS ON THEY SKIN.ALSO IF A SCHOOL IS DOING IT, IT SORT OF JUST TEACHES KIDS THAT THERE'S AUTHORITARISM INSTEAD OF HOW TO FIGHT THINGS. I HOPE THAT THE KIDS MOSTLY DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON AND THE ADULTS LEAVE THEM OUT OF THE FIGHT. MAYBE SOMETHING WITH HIGHSCHOOL STUDENTS WHERE THERE IS A SHARED AGREEMENT COULD WORK? It seems many schools have been doing a lot of things behind parent’s backs, and having to homeschool because of covid has really brought it out in the open. Parents of all walks of life are furious, yet the media will try to convince everyone it’s only “racist” parents who don’t want their kids to learn history that have a problem with what’s happening. It’s all so divisive. I’m tired of the semantics about what’s happening, wether it’s actually crt or not. It’s time people learned that how ideas from academia are being applied in real life and the affect it’s having is more important than what it’s “supposed to be about.@BCLADY Yes! That skit is a perfect example of people becoming what they say they’re fighting about.

@Wicche @Cousin_Isobel I'M TIRED AND SAD A LOT.PEOPLE NEED TO REALIZE THAT BABBIES HAS SOFT MUSHY BRAINNYS AND THAT PREVENTING PORN (THE SEXIST, RACIST INSANITY) FROM BEING EASILY ACCESSABLE TO CHILDREN WILL PROBABLY HELP MORE.IT SUCKS THAT CHILDREN AREN'T ALL GIVEN THE SAME START IN LIFE AND I USED TO BE REALLY ANGRY ABOUT THAT BECAUSE OF CERTAIN LIFE CIRCUMSTANCES OF MY OWN, BUT SHOVING THE ISSUES IN FRONT OF KIDS FACES BASED ON SKIN COLOUR WILL ONLY MAKE THEM BLAME THEMSELVES. THAT IS WHAT KIDS ARE PRONE TO DO. THE U.S. COULD WORK TOGETHER TO GET UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE INSTEAD OF DOING THIS CRAZY SHIT. I DON'T KNOW A TON ABOUT WHAT WENT ON HERE AND I DON'T KNOW THE HISTORY OF WHATEVER US PLACE THAT IS BUT REALLY, KIDS SHOULD BE SHOWN WHAT THE WORLD COULD BE AND THEN SLOWLY TAUGHT WHAT HAPPENS. NOT FORCED INTO AN IDEOLOGY WAR. WHEN PEOPLE HOMESCHOOL, IT'S SHOWING THAT THEY'VE LOST FAITH IN THEIR ABILITY TO USE COLLECTIVE RESOURCES AND IT SUCKS BECAUSE THEY'RE ALL PAYING INTO IT ANYWAYS. @BCLADY @Wicche @Cousin_Isobel I'm trying to figure out what is going on here because I know there's a lot of context that isn't reported. Like I wonder if she put them all into two classes together because those classes would be smaller so they would get more individual attention? I just have so many questions. It's also weird because I've sat through a lot of class list meetings and we're always careful to AVOID something like this.

@Zalbeith @BCLADY @Wicche The number of classes each race of children got seems proportionate, so that each teacher might have about the same number of students. However, it seems that parents were not informed that all the black kids would be segregated from the white kids. (According to the article, there are no Asian or Hispanic kids at the school, and I am not sure where the biracial kids the article mentions were placed.)The segregation was intentional on the part of the principal; however, when the school district found out about it, they put a stop to it. Now, the Mom says it's not good enough and the principal should be dismissed.I have heard that some all-black schools, before school de-segregation, were excellent, despite lower levels of funding. There is a view that says that things went wrong for black students after that. As a white parent in 2021, I prefer non-segregated classes. Clearly, the black Mom in the article/video feels the same way I do. Even if some black parents prefer the segregated classes, though, the idea of implementing segregation, contrary to federal law, in a public school, without asking (or even telling) parents, is just shocking to me.

@Zalbeith @Cousin_Isobel @Wicche I THINK THAT STUFF LIKE THIS SORT OF THING ARE REALLY SPECIFIC TO THE PLACES IT'S HELD.MOSTLY WHAT I SEE IS STUFF THAT EXHAUSTS ME BECAUSE I HAVE LITTLE INFLUENCE OVER IT AND IT SEEMS LIKE THERE ARE WOMEN THAT DEEPLY CARE BUT CAN'T UNIT TO TRY AND SOLVE PROBLEMS.INSTEAD YOU HAVE ONE WOMAN WHO USED HER POWER TO SNEAK BEHIND THE BACKS OF PARENTS TO ENFORCE WHAT SHE BELIEVED WAS BEST, ALL WHILE HAVING NO WAY TO RECORD IF IT WOULD EVEN BE HELPFUL. THERE'S A LOT OF EMOTION INVOLVED. THERE IS AUTHORITARIANISM. I DON'T SEE HOW THAT ONE TYPE OF AUTHORITARIANISM CAN UNDO ANOTHER TYPE WHILE ALSO TEACHING CHILDREN HOW TO THINK CRITICALLY AND SHOW THEM WHAT THE WORLD COULD BE. THE WHOLE THING MAKES MY HEAD HURT.

@Cousin_Isobel @Zalbeith @BCLADY There is a young man called King Randall who has been fighting like hell to create a school to help young disadvantaged black boys learn not just academics but also important life skills. He keeps being denied and his attempts thwarted! Now, a school like that I can get behind, and I don’t understand why the politicians in his area are putting up road blocks. This is completely different to what’s happening at the primary school in the article, this young man truly wants to help disadvantaged black boys, and keep them from a life of misery.
