@joeligj12 Router firewall and/or port forwarding problem? Also depending on your router/ISP, if you try to connect to your public IPv4 address from that connection, it doesn't work.

@proactiveservices I guess so. I can, for example, use synthing fine. Like if I am connected to another wifi I can still sync my stuff with the devices. So I know those ports are open somewhat.

@joeligj12 Syncthing is adept at punching through pretty much any set-up you throw at it! A web server, however, will make you do all the work.

@proactiveservices @joeligj12 yeah, Syncthing won’t require you to forward ports but a web server will. Did you forward the port in your router settings?

@joeligj12 Port forward configured correctly to the desired device for service? Service is running on the Pi and works on the LAN? Fail2ban issue maybe? DNS resolution verified assuming IP is not used of course :)?
