@adam I'm in an email group at work that is against mandatory Covid vax. One thing the group stands for is no quitting if mandated (you have to get fired to start a grievance/lawsuit) and no lying about your status. We'll see how this plays out. I still believe we're too short staffed for the company to mess with this, but everything seems topsy-turny right now.

@PrincessCityPearl this is the advice I'm seeing lawyers give. Do not quit. Be polite, don't lie. If they actually fire you then the process to rip them a new one begins. Politely. :)

@PrincessCityPearl @adam my wife's work is forcing people to voluntarily resign if they dont comply with mandatory vaccines by mid next monthso i imagine that may be a tactic many will take up because then people can't get unemployment and no doubt the gov wants to hurt people economically, hence why they're allowing their fascist partners abuse the citizenry with economic warfare

@hogihung @PrincessCityPearl This is the route I intend to take if it comes down to it. I took inventory on Friday and I have enough cash on hand to pay myself my regular take home salary for 8 months without picking up any side work or a part time position to supplement. If push comes to shove, I have enough to outlast this administration without working, lol.

@mrmcmayhem @PrincessCityPearl I plan to force them to fire me for insubordination or some such, then argue with the State that they forced a medical procedure that I felt was too risky. If you quit, which I've seen employers demand, will make it more difficult to make that argument. There is a reason these companies are trying this scam.
