       @FediFollows @mattj @zash I understand, but pidgin currently has an xmpp server, 3 irc channels, 1 twitter, 1 facebook, 1 subreddit, multiple mailing lists, and a discord that all need to be updated when we do a release, adding another thing is just one more thing for me to update when we release.. :) Not to mention our website 😂

Yeah, that sounds a lot! :/I know this is going to sound unrealistic, but you could try dropping Twitter updates (i.e. just mirror Fedi content to Twitter)?F-Droid did this as they actually have more followers here than on Twitter (10k vs 7k), and they are not the only ones.The Fedi community is a lot more responsive to FOSS, and in many cases that outweighs the effects of a smaller userbase.

       @FediFollows @mattj @zash Pidgin's userbase is typically less technical though, which is why we meet them where they flock. So basically, if there's demand here then we'll consider it :)
