       Hey everyone!Since the beginning of my Mastodon experience 3,5 years ago, it's always been great and I'm looking forward to continuation of it.Mastodon.art was the first instance I knew, first I was active on and I liked it since the beginning and like it a lot to this day. Met good people here, saw a lot of inspiring art.

       There's one thing missing for me though and it frequently caused me problems with communication with other Fediverse users. It's the lack of communication freedom. The amount of instances blocked and muted here is way out of my comfort.For some time now I was looking at how other instances handle the problem and I decided to move to the more open space that allows to communicate more freely across Mastodon and beyond.

       My choice is mstdn.io, a general purpose instance without a leading theme. Yes, I'd like there to be a big art related instance that would also give more freedome for communication and be more open to worldview diversity but I did not find a one that would fit my taste.

       Now what it means to anyone who's still on mastodon.art? Most probably we won't be able to communicate anymore. For some reason, that I don't understand, mstdn.io is also blocked from mastodon.art as many many other (I tried to communicate to it's admin from here and it was not possible). I probably won't be able to reply to you and I will probably not follow you anymore.

       I chose to stay on the open side, this is my artistic and personal need. I understand not everyone needs this, but I decided to follow my true path in this regard and move.To everyone who I leave behind: I wish you the best. Be creative, be great. And maybe see you in the more open Fediverse world one day, who knows!Now I'll try moving and we'll see how it goes.
