@timr @BlkLdyPatriot @redwhitebluedude Similar situation to Sen David Perdue here in Georgia, who lost his seat to Ossoff by the slimmest of (perhaps questionable) margins. It put a nation in peril. Not a peep. No fight. No fire. I was screaming at the screen... the 2020 Spring and Summer consent decrees were an issue that majorly diluted vote integrity. Wrote him and his staff with the consent decrees attached. "FIGHT, Dave." Nope. Milquetoast.

@redwhitebluedude @timr @BlkLdyPatriot Correct. We, the base voters here are too aware. The Gov, Lt. Gov., SOS, and state federal AG have all been booed enormously off caucus stages past spring. Former Sen Kelly Loeffler too. She publically agreed to back Georgia reps during the Jan 6 certification process, to recall GA elective college for an investigation. Then made an "impromptu" speech that night that she could not in good conscience to do in light of the riot. 😒

@timr @BlkLdyPatriot @redwhitebluedude They were. My state senator and I had a couple of private convos about this. Good guy. I got him info on the consent decrees back in Nov; he did not know. He and about 6-8 others had a press conference a couple days later with the points. But then GOP leadership in GA state House and Senate stormed in a rage the halls and offices of the Capitol, demanding any inquiry be shut down. Then a prominent family had their 21 year old son blown up in a crash.

@redwhitebluedude @timr One of the many fallacies of that article is the "generic Republican". Even if one were to accept the polls as accurate, the generic Republican does no run. Someone with a name does...and numbers change. Generics don have personal flaws.In any case, the very reasons adduced are the ones that make Craig palatable to a wider audience in a state Trump never won and were a, say, Texas Conservative, would barely scratch 20%.It's a long shot, but probably the best shot.

At all.He did not fight when his double digit lead on election night conveniently vanished on as the usual Dem 'votes' appeared in the following days. He didn't even question it.Republicans have to challenge and fight, especially in those targeted swing states.It's a lost opportunity. He would be excellent

But there is a fire lacking. He must have it, considering his accomplishments in the military and business. But he has to bring it to politics. He has everything else.
