Personally, I think trafficking/rape is much, much, much worse than porn, though they are related to commodification (and many porn victims are also trafficked). Until we reverse the laws that punish the trafficked prostitutes and not the men, I don't think porn is the first priority. Illegal, non-consensual porn, of course, is worth going after. It's the trafficking that is forever ruining and ending lives. How is a world with defunded police going to change that? How is letting the FBI operate in secret with vague promises going to change that? Trafficked women are out there right now, trapped women. Women with no hope. I sometimes feel like there are invisible strings attached to us, and we know horrible things are happening, and we chose to ignore them to make something less horrible but "outrageous" occupy our time. I am as guilty as anyone. I should drop everything and devote my life to rescuing trafficked women, to changing the laws that punish prostitutes and not the abusers and users. Castration should be the punishment for pimps -- public ball-smashing castration for all the world to watch, especially the other pimps.

There are many anti porn awareness groups that I follow and most of them are very gentle towards consumers. @Ladyfat Yeah, I don't think we all need to jump on Meghan Murphy. She's done more on behalf of sex-based rights than 99.9% of us will ever do. She's also lost more as a consequence. I'm a recent peak-trans and I already find this whole fight absolutely vital, but incredibly boring because it's just women pointing out the obvious but having to go to ridiculous lengths to do so, like writing an entire book, to show things like the fact that men are stronger than women or that women should have privacy rights based on sex. Meghan has been screaming these things for years and has made very little headway in the mainstream. So she's moving on and you don't have to agree with her, but give her the benefit of the doubt and/or stop worrying about what she says.

We'll be having that discussion forever. The only solution I can think of is to regulate porn via a short-term licensing program in which the woman must periodically renew her consent in writing for the use of the image, and expired content is illegal to host, upload, or download. The penalties would have to be quite expensive to be a real deterrent, but those fines could be used to fund the tracking system, and to fight the sharing of images outside the system. This would take the burden off of the individual women who've been exploited, as all they would have to do is stop renewing the license on their material, and report images they find to the authorities. It would take an international effort, but this system would also be used to combat child pornography. The concept of "consenting adults" really needs an overhaul, because there are too many loopholes.
